Collection and Use of Data

The Company gathers and processes various types of information regarding Users when they access, install, or interact with the Product and Software/extension.

“Personal Data” or “Personal Information,” as defined by relevant laws, means any information that can identify an individual or may be used to identify someone. This could include identifiers such as IP addresses, names, email addresses, and more.

“Non-Personal Data” refers to technical information and aggregates that do not identify you personally and cannot be traced back to you.

If we choose to combine Personal Data with Non-Personal Data, we will treat the resulting information as Personal Data.

Legal Basis for Data Processing under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

This section highlights the types of information we collect, how we process it, and the purposes behind its use. We seek to clarify the legal foundations for processing as outlined by the GDPR: (i) We may process certain Personal Data when you use the Product, as we have a legitimate interest in this information; (ii) If you get in touch with us, we will handle your information and any details you provide to fulfill our responsibilities (e.g., your contact information); and (iii) We will manage specific Personal Data based on your consent when required.

As required by GDPR, we are designated as the Data Controller for the Personal Data detailed in this document. When you interact with the Product or Software/extension, we collect information such as your Internet Protocol address (“IP”) and/or MAC address, along with technical data from your device.

This may involve details like device type, operating system, browser version, language settings, access timestamps, geographical location, and the URL that directed you to our Product.

We use standard methods to promptly anonymize IP addresses after they are collected, ensuring they are stored in a way that does not classify as Personal Data. Collecting the IP address is essential for delivering the services linked to the Product and Software/extension.

As a result, we may leverage this data to oversee and protect our Product and Software/extension. Furthermore, this information will be used for legitimate purposes, including auditing and tracking installations, detecting security threats and fraud, and managing our business activities, such as assessing opportunities for our business partners.

If you choose to contact us via any communication channels (like email), you will be required to provide your contact information, which includes your name and email address. We will use this information and keep a record of our interactions to address your questions, offer assistance, or carry out any requested services. This history of communication will be retained for possible future needs, including claims, support, and enhancing our services.

Privacy Rights

Privacy laws vary between jurisdictions and grant distinct rights related to your Personal Data. These rights might allow you to access your Personal Data, request its removal, or opt out of processing, among other options.

If you live in the European Economic Area (EEA) or California, the rights afforded to you under the GDPR and CCPA include the following:

  • The right to be informed: You have the right to understand how we process your Personal Data, ensuring transparency and fairness, as described in this document.
  • The right to access data: You can ask us whether your Personal Data is being processed and, under certain conditions, request a copy of that information.
  • The right to request deletion of your Personal Data: You are entitled to request the deletion of your Personal Data under specific circumstances. This may apply when the information is no longer essential for its intended purpose, you revoke your consent (when relevant), or if you object to its processing without valid justification. Keep in mind that this right is not absolute; we may deny requests if we need to retain the data to comply with legal obligations or to respond to claims.
  • The right to object: You can object to the processing of your Personal Data if it is based on our legitimate interests. However, we might continue processing if our legitimate interests are greater than your rights or if such processing is necessary for establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims or rights.
  • The right to restrict processing: You may ask us to limit the processing of your Personal Data in certain situations, including when you dispute the accuracy of the data; prefer restriction over deletion for unlawful processing; need the data to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; or when there are compelling reasons for a deletion request.
  • Rectification (for residents of the EEA): If you reside in the EEA, you have the right to request the correction or updating of any inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data.
  • Portability: You have the right to ask for your Personal Data to be transferred to a third party, as long as the information was given by you, is processed automatically, and is based on consent or a contractual agreement.
  • The Right to Non-Discrimination (for California residents): As a California resident, you have the right not to be treated unfairly for exercising your rights under applicable laws. This means we cannot deny you access to goods or services, charge you different amounts, or offer you a lower standard of goods or services for asserting your legal rights.

We offer you the ability to exercise certain options and controls regarding how we handle your Personal Data, based on your relationship with us. If you wish to exercise any of the aforementioned rights, please download the relevant form from Here and submit it to our privacy team.

Should we be unable to meet your request for information or facilitate your rights, we will make an effort to clarify the reasons and inform you about your options, which may include the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority (for EEA residents). We might also require reasonable identity verification before sharing any such information, in compliance with applicable laws.

This Privacy Policy does not extend to services or content offered by third parties, including their providers and websites. The data protection policies of these external entities may differ from ours, and we cannot control their practices. We have set up various security measures—physical, technical, and administrative—to comply with relevant regulations and best practices in the industry.

We will also implement measures to limit the amount of Personal Data we keep on our servers. If a data breach occurs and we believe your Personal Data may be compromised, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and any necessary authorities, as required by law.
